Opening my Felt shop was the single most important thing I did to take my (expensive) hobby to the next level. I have made over 1400 sales on Felt and have my stuff in various galleries around the country. I have done almost no marketing – it’s all thanks to my online presence on Felt.

Setting up and running my Felt shop has been straightforward and really affordable. I love the freedom I have for exploration and being part of a super supportive, strongly local community.

Felt is for Good
Felt believes in using business as a force for good. We trade just like a regular business, but we do it to try and make the world a better place. There are three main ways that Felt does good:
Felt helps local creative people to build lifestyles and livelihoods that they love. Selling creative work is a full-time job for some and a hobby for others.
Every dollar spent with a local business like Felt goes around 2.6 times further than the same dollar spent in big stores. This benefit goes directly to local sellers.
Many Felt sellers use ethical and sustainable materials in their goods, and Felt encourages this by actively promoting sustainable items.
Last year, 366,000 online shoppers visited Felt looking for beautifully crafted items like yours, and Felt exists to help them find you!
